"How Much Is Enough?" by Alan Durning, W.W. Norton and Company, New York, NY.1992.  This insightful little book was co-winner in 1992 of the Harry ChapinMedia Award.  This book argues that either extreme of economics(eitherover consumption or poverty) devastates the human spirit and the environment. During seeks to find a middle ground where human need is met without so muchenvironmental destruction.
